From what I understand, you are suppose to use 100%

pure all natural maple syrup. Its one of the more

expensive ones. Brand name that I saw was Spring Tree

on the label and distributed by Spring Tree Maple

Products, Westbury, NY 11590. Its a product of Canada.

Looks real thin in the bottle, not thick like you

would think syrup to be.

Also, be sure to use Grade B syrup that still has all the good stuff not

boiled out of it.
