Guest guest
If you don't believe me ask me. > From: JayTownsend@a... > valarian, a hypnotic affecting the central nervous system, is a mood altering drug, just like its opiate counterpart morphine, In the first place it's spelled with an " e " . It is not a mood altering drug. You are talking about valium, which " is " a drug. Valerian is a food and has been used for thousands of years with voluminous good. I've never heard of getting morphine from valerian, are you sure you're not confusing it with turnips. Wait, no, that's blood. Well then turnips must be related to cows so I'd better not eat them. Actually cats are quite fond of valerian, just like they are of catnip. When I had a toothache the dentist wanted (notice I said " he " wanted, like it was his choice) to pull my tooth (notice I said " my " tooth). I had severe pain at night but started drinking valerian like I said before but a lot of it. I kept it thick and rich and drank it constantly for days. The toothache didn't go away until the middle of the night and then I slept well. I think it acts slowly because it works systemically. Also that toothache never came back. That was two years ago and I still have my tooth and it's fine! Why didn't they dentist tell me to drink valerian. Ah but you can see that's a dumb question. He would have told me it was dangerous and probably cited a few references in medical journals to prove it. I wonder why since it worked so well for me. Ah but again the reason is obvious. Jay I am sure you have good intentions but when you say valerian is bad for the liver it reminds me of my dentist. He would sure have told me that valerian would make pumpkins grow from my ears and all my teeth would fall out just to try to scare me and keep me from using it. You see, I know that dentist very well. And I know the medical and chemical companies, very well. Anyone who takes a look at what they are doing, and the results, and where the money is going, can see this very well.
