Any opinion, ? Here are what I thought were the most relevant excerpts: " interferon alfa-2b and lovastatin....malignant cells are unusually dependent on de novo synthesis of cholesterol, especially of LDL composition, for growth and membrane integrity. The dependence on the mevalonate pathway for the necessary supply explains the inability of the cells to grow and proliferate when this path is disabled....apoptosis....fragility of the membrane may leave the malignant cell susceptible to damage.... Cancer cells are prevented from completing mitosis in the presence of...hmg-CoA reductase inhibitors (HRIs)...When a cell does initiate mitosis, lovastatin interferes with DNA synthesis and more specifically prevents proper formation of daughter nuclei after DNA replication. This may leave the nascent DNA exposed and `marked for destruction'...apoptosis.... Lovastatin [inhibits metastasis] usually by preventing adherence to and migration across endothelial surfaces.... Lovastatin...impede...angiogenesis in...melanoma " www.neoplas.org/id2.html " October 2010...successful response rates [remission or stabilization]...melanoma...stage 4 or 3c...71%, Pancreatic adenocarcinoma 71%...stage 4 or extensive stage 3, Colon & rectal cancer...stage 3 or 4 disease, 67%....Successful responses...malignant fibrous histiocytoma (2 patients), desmoplastic small round cell tumor (1 patient), mesothelioma (1 patient) " http://www.neoplas.org/id16.html " Following five weeks of treatment, a patient’s large, stage 4 tumor was reduced in size by 70%. After seven more weeks of treatment, it no longer could be definitely identified on scans....`began the NeoPlas treatment after he became too ill to complete his final course of radiation following chemotherapy.'...Lovastatin is a key part of this treatment that has arrested or eradicated tumors in 78% of initial patients....stage 4 melanoma [patient treated in 2000] remains disease-free today....best results for...pancreatic cancer and melanoma...colon...renal...mesothelioma...sarcomas, including osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma [MFH] [and desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT, a soft-tissue sarcoma)] " www.breakthroughdigest.com/cancer-treatment/pancreatic-cancer/new-cancer-treatme\ nt-shrinks-pancreatic-tumor Leonard
Guest guest
There's a doctor in my neighbouring town who is getting rid of his pancreatic cancer with 30 apricot seeds a day. They should be raw. Ideally in the shell. Sorry I can't offer any more info than that but it's worth a try. The seeds are a bit bitter but I think they're yummy, kind of like amaretto flavor. When the cancer is gone maintenance of 5-10 seeds can be taken for life. Some people grind them and put them into capsules if they don't like the taste. You will need a very powerful nutcracker or hammer them on a piece of granite or marble. Maybe a mortar and pestle would work. Sharon PS, this is not medical advice! I would suggest watching the film A World Without Cancer. It's online. > > > Hi bethlehem161, > Sorry about your dad's illness. I can't comment on this particular individual, but according to some sources, 30/day is pushing the safety limit. I wouldn't eat more than 15/day, and no more than 5 at a time w/o medical supervision. Oral laetrile/amygdalin (active ingredient in apricot kernels) tends to be only slightly helpful in healing cancer (though probably very effective for prevention), and probably negligibly effective in pancreatic cancer. Laetrile clinics use orders of magnitude higher doses of laetrile IV (large doses can be given safely only IV), in some cases up to 60g/day, along w/many other synergistic therapies, and they still have very little success w/pancreatic cancer.
