Slavak,  What do you think about juice fasting?

Thanks,  Robyn

Hi Robyn,

I have shot the diary and result summary to your address.

I am not sure what is Mr. Slar's cure rate. He has no site and

information comes in bits and pieces. I will try to find out, but no

guaranties. He also complains that many people follow only part of his

recommendations and are surprised that their ordeal shows little

improvement. He also does not advertise, so it is all a way of mouth

references, so I would not expect that he has had all that many

patients, but I do not really know.

I got hold of only a few stories written by him as consecutive letters

of individualized recommendations to some patients sent to another

fellow who is collecting them.

I will try to find out more.

With kind regards, Slavek.

Hi Robyn,

I do not have all that much experience with juicing only. I was on

juices only for 7-8 days prior to my water fast and it did not appear to

have much effect on me, or my troubles. It just made me hungry all the

time and somewhat weak. Juicing sure made it easier for me to switch to

the water fast and may have alleviated the water fast side effects.

From what I read and what makes sense to me, it appears that juicing is

a milder form of water fast, but that it also takes proportionately

longer to take an effect and eventually to lead one out of the woods.

IMHO, the difference between repeated water fasting for relatively

shorter periods of time with a diet and supplementation in between and

juicing for a long period of time lies more in the personal preference

of what one is willing to put up with, than in the final outcome.

I do prefer the water fast, because I can enjoy my " normal " food in

between and can be actually quite physically active during the in

between periods. I am not sure that this would be the case anytime

during juicing only, because it still took a fair bit of energy out of

me.

Yet, I have a cousin back in Czech Republic who has had her first bout

with cancer when she was 26 years old. I am not sure if she had any

orthodox treatment at the time, never the less she was told then that

she had may be 6 months left. She had gone on juicing only and moved

herself out of it sufficiently enough to live a normal life without

symptoms. By now, at 63 years, she has gone through 3 bouts with cancer

all together, had her thyroid removed and is right now in the remission

and juicing again.

This is what I got from my mother on it. I am not in contact with my

cousin. Never the less, she is a bright example that even a person with

a severe tendency to cancer stands a very good chance to live their life

relatively normally, given the stamina and will to live and keep doing a

fair bit for it.

With kind regards, Slavek.
