Forgive me if this has been answered. I make a version of " quark " from

plain yogurt. Letting the whey drip from a cheesecloth full of yogurt yields

almost a quart of liquid whey. I have no idea what to do with this but I know

it is full of goodness.

If this is the same as the powdered whey that is used for " whey protein " can

I use it straight in my smoothies? Or, if anyone has any recipes using this

whey, please advise directly if necessary.

I remember " Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet, eating her curds and

whey " ... the nursery rhyme when I was a kid. I didn't know what curds or whey

were

then, and I still don't know what to do with the whey. But if she ate it I

guess we can too. Please advise, anybody.

Yogurt has casein in it too, which is the bad stuff in milk and

cheese.

Better to go with undenatured whey isolate if possible.
