Could it be sedimentation rate? It's certainly not any of the liver-function enzymes. --------------------------- IRA L. JACOBSON --------------------------- mailto:laser@... Guest guest
Is there a place on the internet to go to figure out how to read blood test results. I have my husbands CBC report and cholesterol tests results. I found a couple places on the web but they don't have what the normal parameters are,, and show real test results Bobbie
Guest guest
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi Folks,I have had several attacks in the last few days.I felt prety good for 3 days.well today,I had some cereal & toast.I felt good and tried a coffee, about a half an hour or so later I had my worst attack ever.I had paralyzing pain-I could hardly move,I had the sweats, water was litterally dripping off me from the attack.I thought I would surely die today.Has anyone been as bad off as me and still been able to save the GB.I stopped the attack with coptis & curcuma but I went to ER a couple hours later. They said everything looked good but the blood work numbers for slight gall bladder infection was 10.9 and 10.5 signals a light infection.I am unfamiliar with these numbers to know the significance of them, any experts on the numbers out there, also has anyone been this far along and been able to save it.I only have a couple of days to decide.thanks to all.Jim >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jim; I really do understand the pain level of which you just stated. I had gone through that a number of times in a seven month time period in '99'. The worst one however wasn't because of a stone but because of my liver having not been provided enough Essential Fatty Acid from which to make the cholesterol needed for proper cellular strength. The report that I got at the time of my last attack in October of '99' showed my liver to be in pretty bad shape with elevated enzymes showing as they did. The main thing I did to take care of this was to start taking lecithin and taurine along with primrose oil, hemp oil, and flaxseed oil. I also made sure to start using a better grade of olive oil too. This all seems to have worked because I haven't had an attack for over two and a half years and am back to eating some foods that I couldn't dare to eat just three years ago. From what you noted I would think you may have some trouble with wheat, and potentially milk too. I would only suggest that avoiding these for a time may help. Instead of these, and coffee, keeping to raw or steamed vegetables along with fruits may do you a lot better for the time being. I would also consider fresh made juice drinks. Keeping in mind that just increasing the intake of EFAs wasn't all that I did. After that last attack I also worked on making sure I got a lot of soluble and insoluble fiber so that the oils would do the job of clearing out the access cholesterol level I also had. Mine wasn't bad but then it wasn't all that good either. The worst of the matter to me was that my trigyceride level was at 95 even though I'd been keeping away from all sorts of fats for some months by this time. In fact it was because of my lack of proper fat intake that I had this problem with my liver. My gallbladder was now clear of the stone they said I had and it was as healthy looking as any other gallbladder but the problem really was my lack of knowledge regarding just how important fats really are for generally good health. Guest guest
Hi Dale, thanks for the info,I feel much better today but I havnt eaten anything,Ive been on lemon ditilled water, apple juice with the superfood vitamin and mineral supplement for breakfast,I did take a teaspoon of fresh flax oil,I also ate a jumbo pitted green olive and was wondering if you have any experience with them,I could make a meal out of them, ive always loved them in olive oil, with red pepper but I wont put any of that in.I drained the solution they were in off and refilled the bowl with the best olive oil I could buy. They scheduled an ultrsound for sept. 4th.I want to get in 2 flushes before then.I told the LPN I wanted to save my gall bladder and she said why,I had mine out and its easy.Thats their mindset.your response is very important to me as I know you have been where I am and have straitened yourself out. When you mention soluble and insoluble fibre-i am very ignorant I ask what foods in particular would give me that.I have been juicing carrots a bit and will add celery,do you thing juicing some garlic cloves a good idea in that mix???I have been taking lecithin along with some other things to help the problem. Thanks for all your help,it is deeply appreciated, sincerely,Jim " Dale " <Da_@e...> wrote: > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > Hi Folks,I have had several attacks in the last few days.I felt prety > good for 3 days.well today,I had some cereal & toast.I felt good and > tried a coffee, about a half an hour or so later I had my worst attack > ever.I had paralyzing pain-I could hardly move,I had the sweats, water > was litterally dripping off me from the attack.I thought I would > surely die today.Has anyone been as bad off as me and still been able > to save the GB.I stopped the attack with coptis & curcuma but I went > to ER a couple hours later. They said everything looked good but the > blood work numbers for slight gall bladder infection was 10.9 and > 10.5 signals a light infection.I am unfamiliar with these numbers to > know the significance of them, any experts on the numbers out > there, also has anyone been this far along and been able to save it.I > only have a couple of days to decide.thanks to all.Jim > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > > Jim; > > I really do understand the pain level of which you just stated. To understand the difference between the fiber is just to understand the difference between a rock and a sponge or a gel and a solid mass. The soluble fiber will act like a sponge because it is gel like and therefore soluble. Insoluble is like you would be getting if you just ate sawdust. This may be a bit extreme of an explanation but it's really that easy. When you eat foods like avocados there is a lot of solid fiber as well as saturated fat and insoluble fiber too. Bananas are another example of that type of food. http://www.drmirkin.com/nutrition/N233.html Dale

Guest guest
Jim, it's important if you feel you can keep going to do so. I was unsuccessful in my attempts over 6 months to save mine, so take my advice for what it is worth. If I had it to do over, I would go to an almost all juicing diet. Use lots of fresh garlic, and use several TBS of flax oil a day. And get a good green supplement like Barleygreen. Along with all the other good advice you've been given. Hang in there. And if you have to make the decision, you have a 95% chance of success. Dawn I told the LPN I wanted to save my gall bladder and she > said why,I had mine out and its easy.Thats their mindset.your > response is very important to me as I know you have been where I am > and have straitened yourself out. When you mention soluble and > insoluble fibre-i am very ignorant I ask what foods in particular > would give me that.I have been juicing carrots a bit and will add > celery,do you thing juicing some garlic cloves a good idea in that > mix???I have been taking lecithin along with some other things to > help the problem. Thanks for all your help,it is deeply > appreciated, sincerely,Jim > >
