Guest guest
Hi everyone I am new here. I am a 27 year old mother of two and stepmother of two children. I was just recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease. I was told I would need 6 months minimum of chemotherapy followed by radiation. I have always been a person who is very much in control of things. This obviously has thrown me for quite a loop. I lost my grandfather a couple of weeks ago to non-Hodgkin's (he was diagnosed last spring and did one round of chemo). I am terified to do chemo not just for myself but also for my kids having to see me go through it. I have changed my diet from the SAD diet to one with all organic foods mainly raw fruits and vegetables. I am also on my last month of a 3 month detoxification program from God's Herbs. I really have not noticed too much change, but I do know that the swelling in my neck and arm is not getting any larger. I am hoping that some of you may be able to share with me some things that you know are effective in treating this dis-ease. There are so many things out there to sort through and I sometimes find it a bit overwhelming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
