Guest guest
For a filter, you need one that filters out especially fluoride plus many other contaminents of which chlorine is one. Type in " best water filters " in google and read more info. Usually the filter has to be a " reverse osmosis " type to filter out the fluoride. Daddy and I checked out bottled water (many bottled water and also the well-known brands contain fluoride or add it to the water) and there are only about five companies (most not very well known) that don't havge fluoride in them. The one that we bought is Crystal Spring and you can get it at Big Lots inexpensively. Ozarka contains fluoride also. Fluoride is a poison and causes many, many health problems. Much has been investigated on it and is a long story. Love, Mom From: Chris What is the healthiest type of water to drink ?
Guest guest
Thanks Leon and Dee for the info on this - I get through about 2 litres a day, so it's obviously quite critical to me. Is the best filtered water more healthier than the best bottled water ? What water filters do the others here use please ? Any particular ones to recommend ? Guest guest
Chris- After I was dx'ed with multiple myeloma I decided to install a whole house water filter. I believe that water you drink is important but also steam in the shower as well as water you cook with need to be taken into account. I think that my approach to water has helped me stay in complete remission for over 10 years. The brand that I installed is Ecowater. Guest guest
We just installed a water softener for the whole house which also filters chlorine and flouride. To make sure, we bought a Big Berkey stainless steel water filter with flouride attachment. For BBerk we use the city water which did not go through the water softener as the salts will destroy my filters . Yesterday the vendor of the water softener came and tested our tap water and it did not register it had chlorine. He tested our water from BigBerk and it also did not contain chlorine. Too bad he had no tester for flouride. The Big Berk removes pathogens, etc., but leaves minerals in tact. We will have our drinking water professionally tested and will let you know. > > Thanks Leon and Dee for the info on this - I get through about 2 litres a > day, so it's obviously quite critical to me. > > Is the best filtered water more healthier than the best bottled water ? > > What water filters do the others here use please ?
