Thank you to everyone who has responded to my request for whey protein

information.

I read The China Study many years ago. I've been a vegetarian for over

seven years and still developed cancer. I think The China Study has a

lot of good information in it, but the author left a huge hole in

information. After reading it, all I wanted to know was what diseases

vegetarians develop. Because I'm here to tell you, they still develop

cancer, heart disease, etc.

After 7 years of being a vegetarian raw foodist, I now need some protein

in my diet. I do not have active cancer.

Everyone needs to understand that the needs of our bodies will change

over time. And what we need to do is recognize that and give our bodies

what they need to be healthy. If you are fighting cancer, then your

needs are going to be different than mine. I feel that part of why I

developed cancer is because of nutrient deficiencies - among many other

things.

Best to all.

From a professional standpoint, I have seen people with cancer do well and

better with protein but I have seen the reverse, people that do terrible with

protein. That alone can make a difference but a more comprehensive approach is

best.

Hi,

I am concerned not only about the dairy aspect of whey powder, but also the

protein. Have you read T.Colin 's " China Study " ? In there he brings

forth the results of studies that indicate that cancer can be turned off by

cutting down protein to very low levels, and then turned on again by increasing

protein levels to more " normal " levels. This is particularly startling since

the protein used was casein!

Comments? Additional information please, as this has me worried.

Thanks

Arlyn:

I posted a perfect hormone free whey protein supplement in this website a ways

back.

Do a search on it and see if it pops up. I can't remember what it was.

Good luck,
