Guest guest
A study I read found over 250 toxins--mercury, dioxin, etc.--in the umbilical cords of newborns. This type of environmental pressure is unique to humanity, growing exponentially, over the last century. Stress no doubt weakens the immune system. But our forefathers knew child mortality: half of the population died before the age of five until the last couple of centuries. Losing a child is stressful. Mortality of women in childbirth was epidemic due to complications and hygienic neglect. Stressful to husbands and surviving children. Starvation was always over the horizon--at the mercy of droughts and locusts. Invasions by everyone from the Romans to the Vikings to the Mongels--always at the door. And slavery--since the Sumerians endemic. What can be more stressful than having one's will taken away--and the will of one's children. And the sexual abuse--the dark side of slavery few talk about--which was a big part of the deal. All are stressful situations that seem worse than having idiotic managers and malfunctioning ATMs. ......[Excerpts from message] The mechanism of cancer has not changed as it has been with us since the dawn of man. What has changed is the mental environs of stress and downward spiral of the quality of food.... ....Stress, particularly chronic stress, has been proven to be the downfall of our immune system. ...... Primary is proper nutrition first to repair and fortify a sagging defense system, while the mind and spirit aspects are the true magical healers....
