Just another 'report' contradicting yet another. We often read that, when you

find a study that appears to have solid information, look a little more and you

will find another refuting it.

Many of us have already learned that many 'studies' are questionable because of

the motives and agenda of those doing the study and the entity funding the

study.

By definition half the people of the world have I.Q.s under 100, that

is, the mental age divided by chronological age multiplied by

100. The intellectually less fortunate are entitled to their own

theories of cancer etiology. So often their theories seem linked to

their moral opinions.

No one has ever told me that masturbation causes cancer, but if they

did I would respond that masturbation seems to be something that

younger people do and they rarely get cancer. Older people tend to

get cancer. This calls for trials. As the effect might not be

pronounced, the trial would require millions of participants.

The intellectually less gifted will never understand the Law of

Unintended Consequences.

I think that JoeC and both are correct. Here is a link to an

opinion that breaks down the study fairly well

IMHO the study is flawed. Or to use quote from my college days There

are lies, damn lies and statistics....

I think we can say with near certainty that everyone who has ever had cancer has

masturbated. The conclusion is clear.

That does not explain childhood cancers; as always, further research

is called for.

Dear All

I shall be thankful, if trial report on cause of cancer due to

masturbation/sexual intercourse, is made available, it will be o.k.

But I have a firm belief that this apprehension appears to be

an old saying and latest studies, may be against this theory.
