Guest guest
Dear Group: I personally spoke with Mahaffey this morning, co-author of the " The Complete Cancer Cleanse. " gave me a free copy of his workbook on 12 steps and cancer, called " If You Dare. " I asked him if he would consider putting the book in the form of an e-book, which would be assessible to others at a nominal fee. He said a resounding " Yes. " He will work on it this week. As soon as it is available, I will let you know. has recovered from terminal leukemia for 25+ years. He is a remarkable man. Some of the questions he presents in the book are: *Is it the disease, circumstance or powerlessness I fear most? *Is my fear of my circumstance enough to push me to a radical life change? Explain *Do I believe I can manage my new circumstance with my old ideas and old behaviors? *Do I need some kind of guarantee to proceed? What would it look like or sound like? *Can I accept a healing without the guarantee of a cure? Do I understand the difference? *Realizing this may be a journey unlike any before travelled, am I ready and agreeable to continue no matter what the uncertainty? *Am I willing to learn to live " one day at a time " regardless of how I imagine the outcome? Explain. What would folks on this website think about holding a retreat at 's this spring? Cherie Chelbom will be there, co-author of The " The Complete Cancer Cleanse " during April 3-5 and May 15-17 (depending on how many folks sign-up). If people sign up thru me you will get a $10 discount. I will be posting a link to the center once I get my website set-up. Rates for the center are around $400 for three days. You could fly into Seattle and we could work out some form of transportation to the center which is one hour away. I would love to meet you guys and come to together for a real pow-wow. Space is limited so it will be first-come, first serve. We have space for up to 25 people. The center offers excercise, the 5 Tibetan Rites, and amble hiking trails in and around the surrounding snow-covered mountains. All meals are included, which is a 100% raw foods diet. A typical day is juice at 9am, wheatgrass at 11:00 am, a smoothie at 12:30pm and soup or salad at 5:30pm. I got hungry so I was glad I brought in extra food. You're also encouraged to eat whatever is in the frig (we did a few mid-night raids). Free private and group Socratic dialogues assist in discovering your inner truths and finding out the issues and " sicko pathos " that holds us back into negative and old attitudes, behaviors and " stinking thinking. " Free Raw food classes Free Infrared sauna Free do-it-yourself enemas There are fees for the horse therapy (http://www.truthinhorses.com), which is what I am going to do when I head up in the spring. Additional pay-for-services include massage, facials, body scrubs, reflexology and nutritional counseling. This was the first time I had done a holistic retreat and it was more then I ever imagined. Just to let go and relax from the rigors of life was awesome. I didn't have to wash one dish or glass and was treated like a queen. The raw foods chef, Sage, is really wonderful. The setting is idyllic. I understand spring is gorgeous there. Cheers,
