Guest guest
Very good point. However, many people diagnosed with cancer may not actually have cancer. Biopsies are very subjective and depending upon the method used, may be of little value. Modern medicine is set in their ways and nearly always use biopsy as the first test for cancer. later they use blood tests such as CA-125, among others, many of which are themselves dubious in accuracy. We need to understand that there exists a high level of unethical behavior among doctors. Far too many are in medicine for financial gain and they often take advantage of the ignorance of their patients. This is why second and third opinions are so very important. When going to a new doctor to compare the diagnosis do not let the new doctor know why you are there but pretend to be a new concerned patient. Many specialists only accept referrals which is inherently biased and highly suspect they match stories to reaffirm the original diagnosis for two reasons, one to exploit the patient and two, to minimize the potential of litigation. An awful lot of doctors are evil. Be a wise consumer and learn everything you can about your condition. Question everything, if the Doc gets mad find another doctor. Its your life, not his. One favorite ploy they use is to pick on a local TV personality and diagnose them as having cancer so that they appear to the public that they have been cured when, in fact, they never had cancer in the first place. I would be willing to bet that everyone who lives in a major metropolitan area has known of a local personality or two who successfully beaten the disease and are advocates to whatever medical prattle presented to them. Pushing mammograms is a good example. In my opinion, hCG and lactic acid levels in the blood are the best predictors. All cancer produces hCG. When the first pregnancy testers came on the market they were sensitive enough to detect about 94% of all cancers because cancer and pregnancy produce the same identical hormone. Shortly thereafter, the manufacturers raised the threshold levels of the urine tests so that they would not pick up most early cancers. These tests are still manufactured in the U.S. but are for export only. They cannot be legally re-imported back into the U.S. Why? Come on now think about it... In my opinion, traditional cancer treatments don't work. As I see it, hMany live longer without any treatment at all. Again, get Dr. Philip Binzel's book. He had no reason to lie. He was hounded just like all the other great doctors. To quote Harry Hoxsey's attorney: (not in his exact words but close). " It takes a lot of courage to hold yourself out as being able to furnish medicines that can cure cancer and operate a big place in a big city like Dallas. I don't believe a man, knowingly lying about it could do it. " Those who survive from conventional treatments (who actually had cancer) live not because of it, but in spite of it. > > arlynsg@... writes: > > And quite frankly, not everyone who uses only traditional medicine dies from cancer.
