Should cancer patients eat sugar?

Yeah, I thought that would get your attention! LOL Seriously, I'm in a heated

debate with an energy healer I know about this subject. He says that all foods

break down to glucose in the body, so eating sugar makes no difference. He says

he has never found a doctor or researcher who says there is a connection between

eating sugar and cancer. So he wants to me provide him with a peer reviewed

study using real cancer patients. Figured this list was as close to that as I

was gonna get.

I'm making the standard argument that even though all food turns to glucose in

the body, many foods with natural sugars (fruit/beans) have vitamins, minerals

and fiber to slow that insulin spike. And when a body has a condition whereby

sugar exacerbates a condition, why encourage anyone to eat MORE of it?

Anyone have any data ammunition I can fire his way? ... anyone?

xxoo
