Guest guest
Hi Kindred, I was also recently diagnosed with PTC. There are great hospital's in NYC, New York Presbyterian Hospital, that do lobectomies..Let's talk..Here's my email address.. cast39 @ aol.com " Kindred " <kindredg@...> wrote: >I've been diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. It has not grown at all since 1999. Nevertheless since it's now known to be cancer, the doctors at UCLA want an entire thyroidectomy and Radioactive Iodine treatment. I've read of other doctors who feel that low-risk patients like myself can live with Thyroid cancer their whole lives or could just get the lobe with the lump taken out. I have gone on anti-parasite and other cleanses since hearing the news, and would not avoid surgery without also actively pursuing alternative therapies. I'm also interested in any other concurrent therapies that have been successful.

Guest guest
Dear Kindred: This is an Alternative list as you well know and perhaps it would make more sense to wait until you fully explore what others have to say about your situation rather than a 'Let's talk' about surgery being the first response that you should jump at. Joe C. > Dear Joe, I was also recently diagnosed with PTC and have explored alternative options for a few months as well because I don't want my entire thyroid removed. I was told by several doctors that it's not in my lymph nodes either and my thyroid is working fine, but I have a 1cm cancerous tumor in my right lobe that has to be removed and a benign tumor in my left lobe with a multinodule goiter. Guest guest
I am an 11 year thyca survivor who healed naturally after 3 failed RAI treatments post thyroidectomy. I wish I would have never removed my gland. I have met two people who healed w/o surgery. One did the protocol I did after all the " treatments " . I run a group called IODINE where the protocol is discussed. There are over 4,000 members. ENT doc is trying to schedule surgery this week for total thyroidectomy. However, my wife does not want to lose her gland for many reasons unless completely necessary. PET scan does not show any spread of this cancer either. Having said that, has anyone experience homeopathic treatment for this type of cancer? If yes, how was the response and how long did the treatment take before noticing reduction in the lump and eventually getting rid of it? I know the treatment can vary based on every individual but like to get a ball park figure. Please let me know as I have to decide very soon..Thank you so much. Guest guest
Have you thought of possible causes for the thyroid issue ? I'd consider mercury from amalgam fillings for any thyroid problems as it accumulates there (along with other places in the body). regards, Steve > > I am an 11 year thyca survivor who healed naturally after 3 failed RAI treatments post thyroidectomy. Guest guest
Mercury is one of the issues along with bromide toxicity. This is complicated by the issue in most of the people today of being deficient in iodine and selenium.
