Guest guest
Bruce, Many of the meds that thwart melanoma are not likely to benefit the amelanotic subtype. You will probably have to use decadron to buy yourself time in spite of the fact that it dumbs down immune function. Boswellia at about 3-4 grams per day can be very useful. The first real med that you can consider would edelfosine. This is a non-toxic soy derivative that I have used successfully with melanoma and with two different types of brain cancer. I would consider using any analogs such as miltefosine that I could find. It is expensive and hard to find so you should start your search immediately as our supply through the Center is limited. There are many other useful meds and supplements that you can use, but their choice largely depends on the grade of your melanoma and the overarching strategy you choose. www.natural-oncology.org _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Bruce P Sent: Friday, January 28, 2011 6:12 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: metastatic amelanotic melanoma - oh, oh I would but am up here in Ontario - Canada, but can look them up - thanks Bruce' [ ] Re: metastatic amelanotic melanoma - oh, oh Bruce, you might consider contacting The Center for the Study of Natural Oncology - 2658 Del Mar Heights Rd., Del Mar, CA 92014.
