Guest guest
Hi, , how much DIM and glucarate should we take? In a message dated 1/8/2011 5:52:52 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Cuns-Rial@... writes: List, DIM and glucarate have two distinct and complementary effects. DIM (or I-3-C) metabolize 16-OHE (dangerous form of estriol metabolite) to a more benign 2-OHE. Glucarate assists in the binding of toxins in the liver for eventual removal by the bile and urine. The enzyme beta-glucuronidase tends to " unbind " these complexes and thus returns the toxins to the system. Glucarate inhibits the activity of the enzyme and reinforces the bonds, helping in the detoxification of excessive estrogen and other goodies we need to get rid off. My advice to any person wanting to detoxify or to prevent the unwanted accumulation of " bad " estrogen and xeno-estrogens and drugs, etc. is to take both. Too much DIM is dangerous and one should be aware of the correct dosis. Glucarate interferes with the absorption of pharmaceutical drugs and if in medication, be mindful... And you're dealing with vitamin D. Also consider thermography as another screening method. ar > > For estrogen, I'm taking Dim, natural progesterone cream that I have > compounded, juicing cabbage juices or Kale juice daily, mostly eating a > vegan diet, no processed foods, flax seed and I also got rid of all my > house cleaners that are loaded with chemicals as the bad estrogen will go > up if around some chemicals. So for me, it's working. ------------------------------------ Links
Guest guest
I did not know that. Will the pet scans pick up clusters of cancer cells (not an actuall tumor) ? My last scan was in nov. '09. I was told that because I had 33 lymph nodes involved, I have a higher chance of it comming back in the next year, especially since I refuse tamoxifen.....but this is according to my oncologist who belives all alternative doctors are quacks and told me not to wast my money on supplements and other therapies such as IV vitamin C. A full body thermogram cannot show you metastatic activity throughout your body as it is only good for so far below the skin. Thermography is GREAT for cancer in the breast, but if you are trying to see if you have cancer elsewhere, it will probably be a waste of your money. That being said, PETs are not 100% accurate, either. But I would trust them more than the full body thermogram. Best of luck, ar
