Guest guest
What of sorghum? The heat is low and it is all food. Bill Corley From: jangrth Agave Nectar is processed with high heat for many hours so that it's concentrated into an unhealthy sweetener, like white cane sugar. Eating Agave Nectar is like eating sugar which can promote cancer growth. This link goes to an article that explains it further. http://www.living-foods.com/articles/agave.html Maple syrup is processed in a similar way and is also unhealthy for anyone with cancer. Stevia is an herb and is OK to use. Honey is a cancer fighter, especially raw honey, a whole, natural food with enzymes and nutrients that support health. Guest guest
OK, well I'll chime in with an article that refutes the 'bad' agave myth. They're not all the same ... they're not all heat processed. I use the Madhava raw agave ... http://www.naturalnews.com/025060.html Definitely worth a read if you like the sweet stuff ... xxoo > > > > > Agave Nectar is processed with high heat for many hours so that it's concentrated into an unhealthy sweetener, like white cane sugar. Guest guest
Hi Jan to me honey is still simple sugars and I still think if you got cancer all sugar is bad. I'm 57 I have had bad teeth most of my life. The few teeth I have left now, most have got holes in them, but since I went on this no simple sugar thing last year, I have not had one tooth ache. I also found that some times we would go out to diner. if the food has sugar in it. In the next few days I find I can't pee. Because some of the food I had has a lot of sugar in it. When this happens my prostate will play up, and I get urine retention so there must be some thing in it Ray " jangrth " wrote: Agave Nectar is processed with high heat for many hours so that it's concentrated into an unhealthy sweetener, like white cane sugar.
