Guest guest
Hi, I had angiosarcoma in the breast and have had surgery to remove tumours (and breasts sad to say) with close margins. I am currently following the Budwig Protocol but am interested in other therapies to compliment this. I know, I know this is supposed to work just on it's own but I am currently looking at options since I haven't read too much about Budwig and Sarcomas. Covering my bases here. My cancer is a vascular cancer and am not sure if it makes a difference. Does anyone have any suggestion or heard what works with sarcomas or vascular cancers? I have read that B17 apricot seeds protocol doesn't really work for sarcomas. My current protocol is Budwig (full protocol) D3 - 8000 a day Thymunex (immune support) spirulina green suppliment 1/4 tsp baking soda/water 2x a day infrared sauna 3x a week had a homeopathic detox for a month had a colonic and do coffee enemas a few times a month I have had no other treatment but surgery. Navarro test soon after surgery was 54. Waiting on results of my next test.

Guest guest
hea thanks! some really promising stuff there. stuff i have never even hear of! natalie > >I have read that B17 apricot seeds protocol doesn't really work for sarcomas > > Correct. > > > My current protocol is > > Budwig (full protocol) > > D3 - 8000 a day > > Thymunex (immune support) > > infrared sauna 3x a week...detox... > > had a colonic and do coffee enemas... > > Sounds great. > > > what works with sarcomas > (particularly CAPITALIZED items) > > pau d’arco, kombu, shiitake, Hoxsey, green tea, bindweed, Poly-MVA; COLEY’S TOXINS; ISSELS, hyperthermia, IV vit. Guest guest
For bc my wife has started getting weekly whole body infrared dome hyperthermia. This therapy raises the core body temperature to 40-41 °C for 4 hours (using sleeping medicine) together with low dose chemotherapies (15mg - 5mg cisplatin, 5mg topotecin & 5mg taxol) to encourage apoptosis and redifferentiation. In addition 50,000 IU vitamin A intramuscular injection before hyperthermia, and intravenous cyclic AMP (using Bucladesine Sodium/Actosin and Aminophin to block breakdown of cyclic AMP) as well as 60 g intravenous vitamin C infusion and oxygen during hyperthermia. The chemotherapy goes in before the core body temperature reaches 39 °C. It's still to early to tell the result, but some tumor markers have decreased and others have slowed or are stopping. We check CA 15-3, BCA 225, Ferritin, ALP, LDH, AFP (Alpha-fetoprotein), Thymidine Kinase (TK), TPA, α-1 globulin, Hyaluronic Acid, and Uric Acid markers. But not all of them every month. Some we've been checking every week before each hyperthermia to check the response from the previous week. Hyaluronic Acid decreased from 130 to 55 ng/ml in 2 weeks, which is just outside the normal range. Quercetin seems to be a " hyperthermia sensitizer " and maybe be effective at reducing tumor markers in breast cancer. We started taking 6000mg/day in 3 divided doses. http://www.thorne.com/altmedrev/.fulltext/5/3/196.pdf EGCG also appears to be good. We started on 1200mg/day. Super Artemisinin (morning and bedtime, on empty stomach with yoghurt and fish oils) kept the Ferritin marker well down in the normal range, around 30-35 ng/ml, until we stopped taking it and the marker went up to 106 in that one month. Started back on Super Artemisinin again and the marker has decreased somewhat already. > > Hi, I had angiosarcoma in the breast and have had surgery to remove tumours (and breasts sad to say) with close margins. Guest guest
The kinds of treatments you revealed, Hyperthermia etc, sound like what one might get in Mexico or Germany. Where are these treatments being had? Joe C.

Guest guest
The main hyperthermia therapy with low dose chemotherapy is in Tokyo, and we sometimes do a simplified WBH without any chemotherapy in Osaka. Various forms of hyperthermia are quite popular in Japan. I'm not sure about local hyperthermia though because of metastases. CA 15-3 marker increase from 35 to 145 in only one month after doing local hyperthermia twice and ultrasound discovered 2 tumors in the liver. So we are sticking to whole body hyperthermia from now on, which is recommended for metastases. http://beta.medicinescomplete.com/journals/fact/current/fact0204a13a24.htm At the moment I'm trying to organize Quercetin injections which is a hyperthermia sensitizer. For the time being she's taking 6000mg orally per day, which may in fact work quite well since it might actually stay in the body for longer. Effects of the flavonoid drug quercetin on the response of human prostate tumours to hyperthermia in vitro and in vivo. Department of Radiation Oncology, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA 02115, USA. Tumour hyperthermia, although potentially a powerful therapeutic agent and radiation sensitizer, is hindered by a number of considerations including inhomogeneous heating of deep seated tumours due to energy deposition and perfusion issues. One solution is to design hyperthermia sensitizers to amplify the effects of hyperthermia, particularly at cold spots within the tumour undergoing treatment. This study examined the use of Quercetin, a flavonoid drug shown previously to antagonize the expression of HSP72 and induce apoptosis as a sensitizer of prostate cancer growth in vivo. Quercetin dose-dependently suppressed PC-3 tumour growth in vitro and in vivo. When combined in a treatment protocol with hyperthermia, quercetin drastically inhibited tumour growth and potently amplified the effects of hyperthermia on two prostate tumour types, PC-3 and DU-145 in vivo. These experiments, thus, suggest the use of Quercetin as a hyperthermia sensitizer in the treatment of prostate carcinoma. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11471985 Phase I clinical trial of the flavonoid quercetin - pharmacokinetics and evidence for in vivo tyrosine kinase inhibition http://clincancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/2/4/659.full.pdf > > The kinds of treatments you revealed, Hyperthermia etc, sound like what one might get in Mexico or Germany.
