Guest guest
Sumeet, If your mother had the usual adenocarcinoma, and she has ever had a high CEA, then CEA would be the marker for her. Other markers that occasionally have value are TPA, CA19-9, HCG-Beta chain. I don't think there is ever a way to " know " one's state of health. It is something that is deduced from a variety of objective measures and subjective observations. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of sumeet dhawan Sent: Monday, January 24, 2011 10:52 PM Subject: RE: [ ] cell salts hello. my mother has had surgery for colon cancer and now has a permanent colostomy and removal of rectum. would appreciate inputs from the group regarding what cancer marker tests should be done to know her state of health. regards and thanks again. sumeet
