Guest guest
Rowena, All I have to know about the effectiveness of quartz crystals is to know they run many clocks, wrist watches and computer chips. http://www.explainthatstuff.com/quartzclockwatch.html [clip] Quartz sounds exotic, but it's actually one of the most common minerals on Earth. It's made from a chemical compound called silicon dioxide (silicon is also the stuff from which computer chips are made), and you can find it in sand and most types of rock. Perhaps the most interesting thing about quartz is that it is piezoelectric. That means if you squeeze a quartz crystal, it generates a tiny electric current. The opposite is also true: if you pass electricity through quartz, it vibrates at a precise frequency (it shakes about an exact number of times each second). [clip] I made my quartzilla about four days ago and you can definitely feel the electrical current coming through it. I have been very busy with the holidays coming up and all so have not been able to use it everyday as I want to. I have complete faith it will work and as the post mentions that is the kind of thinking which helps it even more. I use a clear quartz crystal on one wire and a rose quartz crystal on the other and I attach them with alligator clips. Seems to work just fine. As Bradley likes to say, it's not rocket science...just common sense. Best regards, Sandy
Guest guest
I too was impressed with the watch/quartz info, and a lot of other stuff I read. What frequency does quartz vibrate at? I believe the crystals all vibrate at their own frequency, and that this could be used beneficially if we had the frequency information and knew what complaint responded to what frequency. Easier to download Frex. Probably. But still, if I was out in the desert without gadgets or computers, but could pick up a quartz stone, I'd like to know what it could do. It's just hard to find experimental information in the midst of claims. Re the radon stone mentioned - I have followed along on another group with blow by blow accounts of a breast being treated with one of these, and heard what other onlookers have to say. It is impressive. People who equate these stones with houses with bad ventilation that radon gas has infiltrated have apparently not acquired full information. It is also claimed that scare tactics are used in these cases, perhaps also innocently because of incomplete information. But I have no first hand experience to go further into that subject. There is good information on the net. Re making the quartz device - in one post I gave the link to a kind of glue that was recommended elsewhere for the purpose, but that was moderated out, likely because I was quoting what various other people said about it rather than saying it myself. And as I have not found my crystals or made the device, I will leave it to Fooslcrow to get further particulars from his acquaintances who have the experience, hopefully with accounts of the people who found benefit.
