Hi ,

This is my experience with a portable FIR sauna. I have a large tumor in my

breast I'm trying to get to stop growing and reduce. I have done and do other

alternative therapies too long to list now.

I set the sauna for its maximum temperature, 149 degress, and have tried to

reach 103 degrees core body temperature. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes, my

temperature was up to almost 102 degrees measured by holding digital thermometer

under my arm, tightly squeezed to body. In this sauna, I was sitting upright,

enclosed by the sauna with my head sticking out of it. I had a fan blowing on

my face but I was so hot, I just could not stand it anymore. I have done this

numerous times and I just can not stand being in the sauna for more than about

1-1/4 hours. I might be able to stand it a longer if I could lie down which I

can not do with the physical configuration of this sauna.

I had read about hyperthermia being used in certain German clinics, but from

what I have read, they do not use hyperthermia alone. They also use mistletoe

and other things. They also sedate the patient and I can understand why because

it can get so uncomfortably hot.

Is it helping me? I don't know, but I am continuing to do the sauna baths a

couple times a week.

Blessings,

Cheryl, near Frederick, MD
