Guest guest
Shaman, The things that you list are true although some are hyperbolized. It is very one sided. A strong case can be for the merits of a quality milk. There are thousands of things in our culture that contribute to compromising our health. We make choices. Some things that are unhealthy we use sparingly or not at all. Some of those things, such as milk, do have their uses. Cheese can be very useful in searching for variety in our meals. A peanut butter sandwich demands milk. I know of Africans who live long healthy lives on nothing but toasted wild barley and goat's milk. I am not about to go to Africa and demand that they put an end to this nonsense. What do you say to people who have successfully recovered from serious health problems and milk or whey was a very intentional part of their regimen? Some of the greatest geniuses and inventors lived for years on nothing but milk: Edison, Oliver Heaviside, Nikola Tesla, and they all lived to a ripe old age. We could speculate all day as to whether there is a relationship. My point is that this is not as settled an issue as many would like to think. Guest guest
Yes it is all true- many more reasons to question milk consumption in general can be found here - http://www.notmilk.com/ ________________________________ From: Victor Swiercz <roadmst1@...> Sent: Fri, January 14, 2011 The Weston Price Foundation has court proceedings on raw milk vs pasteurized milk. It will take a bit of digging to find and the testimonies of experts are quite long. However if one is seeking the truth, it is worth the digging and the read. Guest guest
Pasteurized milk is dead, the enzymes and probiotics are killed by heating process. The glue made by pasteurized milk products in the intestines can take many months to be eliminated and block nutrient absorption. Poor nutrition is a result of this nutrient blocking glue. Poor nutrition and toxins shut off sections of DNA. The study of epigenetics explains this very well. Eliminate the toxins, provide good nutrition and many of the genes can be turned back on.  If one is worried about raw milk, do what was done in the old days before refrigeration. Farmers used to drop a silver coin in the milk containers to prevent spoiling and to kill pathogens. Drinking raw milk out of a silver plated cup will do the same. This is the idea behind real silverware used years ago. Wheat, corn and gluten will also make this glue. It is not unlike Elmer's glue. Raw milk does not make this glue as it is a live food.  I doubt if any coins today contain real silver. Some health food stores do sell raw cheese. Raw milk can be had if one takes part ownership in a grass fed, antibiotic and hormone free dairy cow.      " Eighty percent of milk protein consists of casein, a tenacious glue. Casein is the glue that is used to hold a label to a bottle of beer. Try to scrape off one of those labels, then consider the effects of casein in your body. Casein is the glue that holds together wood in furniture. Behold the power of glue and behold the power of horrible bowel movements. Casein is a foreign protein and your body reacts to its presence by creating an antibody. That antibody-antigen reaction creates histamines. Anti-histamines (like Benadryl) are used to counter the effects of histamines. Mucus and phlegm are produced as a result of cheese consumption. Mucus congests internal body organs. Mucus creates phlegm. The average American lives his or her life with a gallon of mucus clogging the kidney, spleen, pancreas, tracheal-bronchial tree, lungs, thymus, etc. Imagine not eating cheese or any other dairy product for just six days. An internal fog will lift from your body as the mucus leaves. Eat just one slice of pizza on day seven, and twelve to fifteen hours later, the mucus will return.
