Guest guest
My mum was diagnosed with cancer of the base of the tongue (with mets to the lymph nodes) 3 years ago. She went down the surgery, radiation and chemo - route and docs were very pleased with the results. However, noone regarded it necessary to do any follow up blood tests, let alone scans, so now after 3 years she's left with 2 very large mets on her liver and a mass on the head of the pancreas. She's declined palliative chemo and is now focusing on alternatives. Her diagnosis was 2 months ago - Her gp is surprised not to see her in any pain yet. We are not sure if the tumours have grown - but they seems to be pressing into her stomach and she feels full very easily. She is a bit jaundiced..which seems to get better after coffee enemas and colonics. She's got swollen legs and feet due to water retention (if anybody can offer any advice as to how to bring some relief - i'd be most grateful) and her blood pressure is very low as is her energy. She's changed to a vegan diet, juicing, no processed foods, no wheat, no sugar, only low g.i/g.l fruits. She's drinking filtered, alkalized water, applying magnotherapy and a S.A.D lamp, visualization meditations/inner talk and i just bought her a rebounder. I was hoping someone could give me some advice regarding the combination of supplements she is taking and whether anything should be added or left out. Although I try to research as much as I can i find the wealth of (often contradictory) information very overwhelming and I am only a layperson after all. She also started with the Budwig protocol a few days ago (slowly increasing the flax oil). Shes taking the flax oil neat from the spoon together with companion nutrients and the oil cottage cheese mixture only once or twice a week (i was afraid the overall percentage of animal protein would be too high otherwise, since shes eating very little. So the suggested 5% mark would be out the window). Here are the additional supplements on an empty stomach IP6 & Isonitol powder (1Tbsp) vitamin d drops/spray 4,000 IU (should it be increased..i have a feeling it might be low?? the u.k is not exactly the sunniest place this time of year) msm (1tsp -1Tbsp) breakfast coq10 390mg selenium 100mg astaxanthin 4mg l-carnitine 500mg milk thistle complex (also containing dandelion root, tumeric extract, shizandra extract, Picrorizha kurroavv Extract, Phyllanthus amarus Extract) lunchtime milk thistle complex with dinner milk thistle complex coq10 100mg selenium 100mg probiotics digestive enzymes biocare's multivitamin & mineral complex before bedtime aloe ferrox pancreatic enzymes during the day: olive leaf extract organic germanium pau d'arco tea floressence/essiac tea chlorella and spirulina and she's also gonna try to incorporate the following: maitake & reishi arabinogalactin I hope this protocol is not completely contradictory (as in:cancelling each other out) and somebody is willing to give me some feedback and suggestions as to how i could improve it. I do really appreciate this forum and all your knowledge and experience. I may not comment a lot, but I've been following your posts for a while now and I've learnt a lot. All the very best to each one of you. Love and Light Tami
