Guest guest
I found out that Dr. Bergin is a chiropractor, is that the same Dr. Bergin you referred to? How do you contact Dr. Bergin for others who might want to know about your wife's good results and where to get help. Lois Lois; My wife had (hopefully is it is had) ovarian cancer stage 3. I take my wife to Dr. Bergin, he used to work at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America but now works out of Dr. Mercola's office. He is good friends with Dr. Quillin who wrote the book " Beating Cancer with Nutrition " and may have even helped to write the book. Flax seed does not contain the same omega 3 as fish oil, the same holds true for vit B12, both are different. I was told the plant based omega 3 and plant B12 will deplete the animal based omega 3 and B12 from the body. I do not have the same level of trust and will seek many opinions, eduacte myself, and do my own research. This is the reason I am here, to learn from others. I want to know what is working for others, I want to know if I am doing all that needs to be done. Indeed I have picked up several things along the way to help from the kind folks on this list. I hope I too, have helped a tiny bit. Hi Vic: Well that is good to hear that your wife is doing well. It might have something to do with how well you can digest the flax oil. My dr said something about the long chains in the flax oil that I could not digest. I trust my drs completely so did not question anymore as I had so many other questions. Glad to hear that I am not the only one. Who is your alt dr? Sounds good. How bad was your wife's cancer? What sort of cancer? Lois From: roadmst1@... Lois: My wife was taking the flax seed as well, her alternate doctor told her to stop and use 5,000 mg of fish oil instead along with a dry vitamin E. He also told her to use a special vit C in equal amounts. A month later her cancer markers fell to a normal level. The alternate doctor told my wife flax is the wrong kind of omega 3 and that she needed animal omega 3, not plant omega 3. Thank you for your story, I saved it just in case. I do know of Dr. and his work. My wife's doctor has a doctorate of nutrition and said the plant omega 3 would deplete the body of animal omega 3. Your story is consistent with this. I am so glad for your post as I was questioning the advice of our alternate doctor on this point.
