Guest guest
Hi Elliot: I don't care for Bubbie's that much either. I use either Eden Organic Sauerkraut (which is heated to 175 degrees for five minutes) or I obtain homemade, unpasteurized sauerkraut from a local butcher. In fact, I know of two small butchers here in Columbus that make & market their own sauerkraut -- I think they view it as a necessary condiment for the pork or Wurst they sell. I guess from an enzyme point of view, the pasteurized probably isn't as good. However, from a lactic acid perspective, I would doubt that it matters. Guest guest
I love the Bubbies brand (not familiar with the others), and sometimes just have a sip of the juice from it. Actually, if I have to drink something distasteful I will follow it with a few sips of Bubbies. Takes care of unpleasantness in mouth beautifully. i.e. when taking flax oil. > > Hi Elliot: > > I don't care for Bubbie's that much either. Guest guest
Hi. Thanks for your answer. With regard to " taking flax oil, " once again I would like to say that I believe it is not supposed to be healthful to take flax oil plain, that it is supposed to be mixed with cottage cheese [or quark]. However, it also appeared to me that Dr. Budwig's aim was " to get as much flax oil into a person each day " having them also eat oleolux and making salad dressings using flax oil, etc. So how does one reconcile the two bits of information---the one that flax oil was not meant to be taken plain, but blended with cottage cheese [or quark], and number two that Dr. Budwig gave lots of recipes for foods and condiments that contained flax oil but not cottage cheese?
