It is a bit misleading, and unintentional I am sure, to title this great advice “how to cure any illnessâ€. It would be impossible to do every one of these things perfectly therefore the body could still face a time when it needs to take heroic action, which we mislabel as being sick, such as coughing to clear the passages, sweating to remove toxins or even......diarrhea along with a most uncomfortable fever. All of these symptoms are often just the body defending itself and trying to rid itself of all the things Dr. Ellias brings out which things are advised about in this detailed post. Regardless of what might appear to be my negativism, the advice is sound and wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all followed it 100%? The post does go on into more detail than the subject line indicates and does redeem itself. It is the formula for better health. One of the things rarely touched on is the everyday, routine, elimination of cell death and the virulent toxins generated by this perfectly normal process. There is probably enough toxins produced in just a few seconds by this normal process that if it could be isolated and injected into a horse, might kill it within minutes. However, here we are 24 hours a day and this process is going on every second of that day. Sometimes we read about the toxic overload when cancer cells are killed so quickly, the body cannot eliminate them and problems arise. Think on that a moment. If that is a real situation then what about the ‘normal’ toxins that we are supposed to routinely eliminate IF they are somehow checked- (stopped)? All of the things Ellias sent us in this post can cause a hindrance of this normal eliminative process thereby creating a situation whereby this wonderful body we live in ‘must’ get rid of the toxins or we die. What happens? Do we ‘catch’ a cold and slobber all over ourselves as mucous carries toxins out? What about coughing up phlegm? What about that fever? Are these the heroic efforts by the body at getting well or is it only Detox programs or High Colonics that rid the body of waste? We bandy about the “one and only cause of cancer†or the 80-90% of diseases caused by stress and if that was correct, then we only need do all of the good things espoused in Ellias e-mail 20% of the time and devote 80% of our time to relaxing. ? ? We evolved to know when we are thirsty. Drinking more water than we have a need for flushes minerals from the body. If the body needs more water than it is getting then there is usually an underlying problem. This is why many patients are dehydrated but drinking water does little to restore them. 3. Stress is both needed and problematic. The really problematic stress is that which is unpredictable. This is something that cannot be easily managed. 4. Exercise in general is good. I recommend that one does the natural activities that our ancestors did. 5. The sun is good. The morning sun seems best. 6. Toxins: Live like your ancestors. Revert to nature and natural products as much as possible. 7. Fats: Each new fat book starts a new fat-related fad. Eat like your ancestors. 8. Raw food: eat. 9. Insulin and leptin.
