Guest guest
Is there some way to protect the body during a biopsy to prevent cancer from spreading, just in case there is cancer? If so, what are the amounts to take before hand. I have heard about amodified citrus pectin any ideas how much to take? VicĀ
Guest guest
Excisional biopsy is preferable if that's possible, because it removes the entire lesion instead of cutting into lesion and leaving some. Life Extension Foundation cites formal studies that indicate local/regional asnesthetics are safest and that general anesthetics, when NOT used in combination with local/regional anesthetics actually promote spread of cancer. Use of opiate pain meds also promotes spread of cancer, (again, per Life Extension Foundation), so if pain meds are needed, you could ask your doctor to use nonopiates. You can call Life Extension for advice as to your specific situation and recommended dietary supplementation. Wishing you a good report from your biopsy and a speedy recovery.
