considered a pioneer and icon in the Integrative Medicine community.

Since the mid-1970s, Dr. Berkson has successfully treated patients with

terminal liver disease and diabetic neuropathy with intravenous alpha lipoic

acid. In more recent years, he has added low dose naltrexone to his treatment

repertoire, and has had great success using a combination of the two to treat

some very serious cancers -- most notably, pancreatic cancer.
