Guest guest
There are a lot of reasons, not just one, here's a few examples. 1.) Drugs are a money machine for Big Pharma in U.S. 2.) Some drugs have not been approved by FDA for U.S. use yet. 3.) Some have been blacklisted - no off label use. (quinine for leg cramps - in favor of new restless leg syndrome drug.) 4.) Some have been taken off the market in favor of newer higher profit drugs. Triptophan (natural substance) banned in favor of " new " sleeping aids like Lunestra. 5.) Generics are easier to license and obtain in Canada 6.) Canada has a better system, same drugs, cheaper prices. 7.) Collusion between AMA, Big Pharma and Insurance companies. 8.) Stupidity 9.) Bureaucracy and red tape. 10.) And many more............. > > Or maybe other places too, but anyplace BUT the US? Guest guest
Great info, Chuck .. in addition, detwa, the plain truth is that in most states, doctors can go to jail if they recommend anything other than chemo, surgery or radiation for cancer treatment. Advertisers, vendors are terrified of using the word 'cancer' in their ads/websites or the wrath of the FDA will descend on them. It is a small miracle that we can access as much information as we do. ..
