They're available at some outpatient clinics in the US and many hospitals in Tijuana, Germany, and elsewhere. If it's a lymphoma (NHL) that's highly responsive to chemo (e.g., most aggressive lymphomas), I think CTCA would make sense. However, I don't know if chemo (which is CTCA's PRIMARY treatment) is very effective w/grade 1-2 (i.e., low-grade, slow-growing) NHL. For low-grade NHL, I'd be more inclined to pursue NALTREXONE (LDN), antineoplastons, and differentiating therapies like benzaldehyde. I would look into the following clinics: www.natural-oncology.org ( Gammill's center) www.CHIPSA.com and perhaps www.sdiegoclinic.com all of which are highly effective w/lymphomas, I believe. Feel free to contact me offlist if you'd like further guidance. Leonard
Guest guest
It is sad to see so many people go with chemo for cancer there are so many natural ways to take care of cancer Your Health Crusader ________________________________ From: Leonard Sent: Fri, January 14, 2011 Hi Greg, " gvblk4msn " <gvblk4@...> wrote: >grade 1-2 Follicular NHL of the small intestine >...if anyone has had experience with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA] Yes, I know a lot about CTCA. Guest guest
I went to CTCA in IL. I was very satisfied. They treat you like royalty. They were out of network for our insurance but they waved those out of network charges and said they would take usual customary fees. They charge very high prices for everything but so far we have not been charged for anything that the insurance didn't cover. Guess we will see on that. I had a liver resection laparoscopically and was very satisfied. The surgeon sat down with me and went over my ct scan slide by slide. Never had a doc do that before! I was disappointed with their alternative options from their ND's at least in IL. Nd's r not licensed in IL so are limited in what they can do. They did check my vit D and put me on supplement for that. They also did cancer bloodwork that no one else had ever done. Guess it depends on what you are looking for. I went there for a specific procedure that I thought they had the most experience with and was not disappointed. I have found a doc that does alternative things and have not gone back to CTCA since my last post surgical check up. Sue
