Guest guest
Hi - I read your post and please be careful. I do not take it, but you should talk to your physician or practitioner and discuss this with them about your very serious concerns. Increasing dosage with a potential reaction sounds like a real possibility. Please take the time to ask. Sorry I couldn't be of help. gary g -----Original Message----- From: Sue Rutledge <rutsue@...> Sent: Mon, Feb 14, 2011 Does anyone on this list take Iscador. I am on the second box and have a red welt where i inject about the size of a quarter. The next box is 10 times the dose of this box and that scares me. I also wake up at night with pounding heart and face feeling warm. Not sure if its the Iscador or not. I take so many supplements and the Iscador dose changes 3 times in 7 doses so its hard to get a handle on it. Just curious what others experiences have been. Guest guest
Sue Iscador usually gives you a reaction, it is a sign that is working well..however the reaction should not be excessive and the peole who make it at Weleda tell you that you should " desentitize " yourself a bit before progressing to stronger doses. Since the 7 ampules continue increasing the dosage you can either say with the diultion that gave you this red reaction , or try the level before that,.. i do not know what they sell in the US, I only know what they sell in Europe. I use Iscador myself and have done so for many years. i have recommended it many times to people and they all get these reactions, HOWEVER you should consider contacting them and asking them about the other symptoms besides the rdness and swelling as I am no doctor..All the generalized symptoms might not be related to Iscador, but if tey are, you shpuld get a professional opinion on this. getting fever and itiching in the place of the inyection is normal and is actually expected---- .. they want you to get to the dosage that gives you this reaction as it is stimulating your immune system.. generalized fever and chills I have had also.. When I have has fever and a lot of swelling i have not pushed it to the next level, i have bought more ampules of the same dilution ad then try the 7 ampules of a lighter dosage next time. I hope this helps you people at Weleda are very helpful . Are they the ones selling it there? I think it is an excellent remedy for cancer and in Germany it is the most used after conventional treatment. i live in Spain and it is not as popular here, we now have to get it from germany.. there are many antroposophic clinics in germany that use this as one of their biggies for cancer 2011/2/14 Sue Rutledge >I am under a doctors care and am asking him, but would also like to hear from others that have taken it. Guest guest
Sue, Sounds like the Iscador is stimulating your immune system in a big way. Talk to your Dr. about it. Your immune system might be compromised now and the Iscador is working too hard. You might need a more diluted dose. I know that I had to really dilute the larger Iscador vials since it stimulated my immune system so much. My physician, Dr. Rentea, sent me 6 empty rubber topped vials with a bag of sterile saline to dilute the Iscador with. I'd talk to your doc and tell her/him about all of your symptoms. Keep the faith. > > > Does anyone on this list take Iscador. I am on the second box and have a red welt where i inject about the size of a quarter. Guest guest
Yes, I've heard about that reaction as well. I just never took a strong enough dose to have that reaction. > > Sue > Iscador usually gives you a reaction, it is a sign that is working > well..however the reaction should not be excessive and the peole who make it > at Weleda tell you that you should " desentitize " yourself a bit before > progressing to stronger doses. Guest guest
Yes, I'm on Iscador for breast cancer. 10 injections (first course of it). My Natural Doctor here in Canada is giving them to me. The first 3 I had a very small, dime sized swelling and it didn't hurt. The rest have been getting progressively larger red swellings with a bit of pain at the site and then some itching after about 3 days. I'm told that this means that the Iscador is working properly. The company that makes it/sells it to my Natural Doctor has been very helpful with phone calls from him and information support any time that he has used it. Hope that's helpful.
