I started eating okra when I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I love

the way it slides down your throat. Try not putting as much water when

you cook it or have it in vegetable soup like gumbo.

Being from the south, battered and fried is a favorite.

Boiled okra, while healthy, is not as palatable, but a

fresh batch is ok that way.

You can get pickled okra too.

The product Okra Pepsin E3 from Standard Process is

a small intestine cleaner that works well.
