At least with women, if you cut your fat intake too low, depression hits. I went through that about ten years ago now, when I quit all the low fat dairy and went to full fat raw milk the depression went away. I shared my discovery, with the research I had at the time with a group of Ladies I was associated with. Four of them got off anti depressant medication by changing their diet.
