Guest guest
Hi All - I don't believe in coincidences which is why I was both surprised and very pleased when this happened yesterday. I read/contribute to a number of boards, and appreciate the opinions of those who contribute their experiences to them.At times I wish there was a way to have in person, on-on-one conversations to share the experiences, and gain and exchange even more personal information with each other, especially with those who are as like-minded as myself. So there I was in my doc's office yesterday getting a nutrient IV and was in a room with another woman with breast cancer; she was with her husband. She got hooked up to her IV and I notice how very in-tune these two were to her condition, as well as how very educated they both were in using alternative treatments to support and treat her. At first I didn't say too much then I noticed some of the things he was doing to support her experience there - not to mention what they are doing in their daily routine - much like mine. It became apparent that so many of the things they were doing I also am doing, so we began talking. Further into the conversation the husband and I talked about groups. As it turns out, not only are he and I on the same boards, he had JUST READ my footbath comments prior to coming to the appointment. Talk about a small world - considering the billions of people on the face of the planet, and how many from around the world who read these same boards, how bizarre of a non-coincidence it was that someone who just read my post happened to walk into the exact clinic and be seated in the same room as me which allowed us to exchange information on a more personal level. It was a wonderful exchange of experience and information, and I know they read this board, so thank you so very much for yesterday's experience as I have even more renewed hope than I did yesterday! thank you - you know who you are!!!!!!!! cathy
