Guest guest
Shelah, I have one of the cancers that is actually curable with high dose chemo and radiation. Normally hyperthermia works well with radiation. It doesn't in this case, though it does work with ozone -- at least in animal models. Low dose chemo will produce shrinkage and then multiple drug resistance takes over and the cancer grows without surcease. Thanks for the suggestion, At 10:59 AM 1/23/2010, you wrote: > > >Hi ,how about low dose chemo and low dose radiation with >hyperthemia? Guest guest
I hope you are feeling less pain these days. Did you add Iscador, or whatever the name is in the US for viscum album from Welleda to your protocol already? I ask you because you had said you would add it . I am always amazed at how little popularity this has in America compared to how very popular it is in Europe. The dr I used to work with also uses Dionaea muscipula (carnivora)and 714 X. Hope your health improves as quickly as possible. Keep up your great spirit! Guest guest
There are several forms of low-dose chemo therapy -- metronomic dosaging is one. All the usual chemotherapies produces MDR, even in low doses. It is an evolutionary mechanism that helps protect us from natural toxic alkaloids, but it even serves us well in protecting us from farm chemicals, etc. The problem is that MDR's natural protectiveness (1)extends to chemotherapy and (2) works by several very different concurrent mechanisms. Any redundant intentions in biological pathways imply the importance of the pathways for survival. Those who market any of the low-dose chemo strategies are loathe to recognize the downside of their remedies. I learned the essentials of IPT (similar to metronomic) from Dr. Donato - in Tijuana. He told me that it never works on stage 4 but it works on stage 3 about 25% of the time. I thought that this was a remarkably honest assessment. I have seen great temporary benefit from these strategies in stage 4 cancers.
