She guided me through a very difficult time with applying the salve because the tumor was on my dog's back leg and when she moved the leg it changed shape and size so the bandages kept shifting and Flurry was able to get in there and lick and bit the tumor. She finally bit the entire thing off. For awhile I didn't know if the salve had reached the roots but now there is no sign of a growth. , someone emailed me that in animals, the fibrosarcoma often appears at the vaccination site. I am wondering if Flurry had her rabies shots in that spot? Don't vets often give vaccinations in the rump? ************************************** See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)
Guest guest
I am happy to comment on this. First off I dont know this one salve/ointment but I certainly would not take it internally because of the pine tar and beeswax, & Emu Oil. That may be the reason it is dangerous to take internally. Topically it is probably ok. I dont know. My salve only has the 2 herbs, bloodroot and galangal root, with the zinc chloride and distill water. Nothing else. I know it is safe to take internally because I have personally taken it and so has my husband and hundreds of others. It is important to take on top of food in the stomach. Food buffers the zinc and does not work against it at all. It is taken in very small doses of a pea size once a day. My web site is www.11thhourcall.com/salve The cost is $70 for the one and one half ounce jar. The prices for the kits are resonable and I put the kit together to help people not have to worry about where to find these items. There are 3 prices with the kits. (1) with the black salve and capsules only it is $75, (2) with the Black salve, capsules and yellow salve it is $85, (3) the Black salve and yellow salve only is $80. This covers the shipping too. > > Dear , > > I have a two ounce container of Black Salve Ointment 6500 from Alternative > Health and Herbs Remedies, 425 St SE, Albany, OR which reads > " Danger:or Fatal if swallowed. Guest guest
Galangal root is a herb used in India for seasoning but is a very powerful herb for cancer too. It and the blood root are very similar in looks and work great together. > > In a message dated 12/20/07 1:34:36 PM Eastern Standard Time, > rfhowardny@... writes: > > > > Ingredients:Comfrey Pwd,Slippery Elm Pwd,Myrrh Pwd,Mullein Pwd,Marshmallow > > Pwd,Chaparral Leaf Pwd,Golden SealPwd,Blood Root Pwd,Red Clover > > Pwd,Galangal?Root Pwd,Burdock Pwd,Chickweed Pwd,Poke Root Pwd,Cayenne > > Pwd,BitterMelon > > Pwd,Citric Acid,Lobelia,Wheat Germ, EmuOil,Glycerine,Lanolin,Bees > > WAx,DMSO,PineTar,Vit E Caps,Olive Oil. > > > > I know that Kathyrn's salve doesn't have all these ingredients in it. Guest guest
How does one learn which herbs work together and which need to be taken separately from each other? Is there any reliable literature in books or on the Internet? As I read the email message immediately below, I note that I eat the rind of bitter melon maybe twice a week, about one medium sized bitter melon per week. I understand that bitter melon is good for lowering blood sugar and has antioxidants but may have some risks. I am unaware of interactions between bitter melon and spices or other foods. Guest guest
As far asI can tell, the only things I can see in this formula that would warrant one to not take internally would be pine tar, lanolin and bees wax. I always thought DMSO was to be used internally only. Some glycerins can only be used internally. Depends what kind it is. Nowadays, some people say (i.e. FDA, etc.) not to take comphrey internally. I used to make kitcheree and other things with quie a bit of comphrey until I heard about the warnings in the '80s. I am not sure since I suffered no known ill effects but I do not eat it any more to stay on the safe side. I hear about black salve on this forum and the pain it causes to use on the skin. What ingredient does that? Bloodroot? I know it is not the galangal since it is very similiar to ginger. I have a pickled bottle of it in my fridge right now. So what causes the intense pain? Guest guest
Greetings, It is nice to see a knowledgeable discussion of bloodroot, thank you. Just for information, Emu oil is edible, depending on how it is processed and stored. Pure emu oil is used to control familiar cholesterol, for many people. Guest guest
Ritu, Fresh carrot juice with any type of fresh juiced greens, parsley, dandelion, kale, will help in this area for any type of cancer. A quart of this a day freshly made. Make sure that their bowels are going each day, they say if we eat three times a day our bowels should go three times a day. The book, Back To Eden by Jethro K. (Can't think of his last name) is really good for herbs for healing all kinds of health problems. Guest guest
Hi, Barbara! Isn't it sad that something as indicative of good health as regularly moving one's bowels is so thoroughly overlooked by the Mainstream? Or how about breathing? My wife consistently breathes 2-3 times the normal number of breaths per minute, yet every time she visits her Mainstream doctor and he checks her lungs, he says not a word about her breath rate. I am alarmed, but have not been able to do anything about changing how quickly she breathes. In " Examining Your Doctor " by McCall, MD, he mentions breath rate as a very significant factor of health or dis-ease. He writes of a man who came into his office who was breathing much too quickly, and that that alone was enough to cause McCall to question him enough to realize the man was suffering from AIDS. I've half a mind to write my wife's doctor a letter of reprimand. Best wishes, Elliot

Guest guest
Elliot, I've been going through some mail and found this. I don't remember responding to your post. I feel that I breathe too fast too. I try to slow my breathing down but can't of course unless it's really quiet and I'm getting ready to sleep. I've tried a little of yoga, only what I've seen on TV but I've done that it it really helped with my breathing. But now, thirty years later I'm still breathing too fast! What can I do to relax me eough that I'm not speed beathing? Barbara ________________________________________________________________________ More new features than ever.
