Hi Lois,

I had issues with the metabolic diet questionairre. It was long and heavily

unbalanced. For instance, I'm a vegetarian, but there is no separate test for

vegetarians. So, because of the way the questions are laid out, I could not

answer how I feel after eating meatwhich is an automatic " pro meat " result.

Which swayed the results TOWARDS being a protein type. In other words, as far

as I'm concerned, the whole test is no longer valid.

So, I would advise approaching with caution and with eyes wide open to the flaws

in any type of diet.

Greetings,

I always love the advice to look at your grandparents, makes me feel so

like an outsider, again. Many of us are adopted, while we may find out

a bit about who our parents were, we never have the kind of knowledge

that families have.

We did buy the tests to find out what blood type we are, they arrived

and we did that this week. I have the book about eating for your blood

type on order, it should be here any day.

Juicing is what was really bothering me. Juice is one thing I have

never tolerated, my diabetes is totally controlled by diet and juicing

is not part of my life. I have no desire to cure the cancer and die

from complications due to diabetes. For those of us with multiple

medical problems, natural treatment is a maze. However, main stream

medical will kill me in a year, so you do what you can. I am in Rural

Texas, too far from any good practitioners, I am not saying that all

doctors are bad, just my area.

Bright Blessings,

Garth & Kim

I, too have struggled with this entire nutritional/metabolic typing area and

cancer. I am a fast oxidizer or protein type. I have been to see Dr Mercola and

tested higher than him for protein needs. I do love my meat and dark poultry. I

feel better when I am eating meat. All of the alternative cancer protocols seem

to gear towards vegetarians. I keep trying to raise my PH and it is hard on

veggies, for me. This article was helpful.

I understand there are people who are vegetarians because of their beliefs. It

may be your beliefs and your blood type or nutritional type are not in

agreement. Just saying, it's worth checking out. I have done nutritional typing

on 3 different occasions. Jillian s also has one available. They always

agree and I am an O+ bloodtype which also promotes more protein.

Here is the link to Dr Mercola's test, which is now free. I believe I paid about

$175 for it the first time I took it.

it was perfect for me. I had eaten a macrobiotic diet for 20 years and was

craving meat and fats. When I found out that my type needs fats and meat, I did

not have any cravings and can eat a diet of foods that my body needs. I have

8oz of carrot juice a day to keep me balanced as I need to eat 50% raw and 50%

cooked food.

Kathy: In response to your email, part of which is above, I agree with you so

much. I think my lack of amino acids and essential fatty acids because of my

belief in no meat, made by body degenerate. Once I was told that it was ok to

eat meat, I went directly to the closest restaurant that served organic grass

fed beef and have never looked back. I feel so much better with more protein

and was craving it so much. I dream about meat!!! I am a mixed so need to eat

from both the protein and vegetarian diets.

Thanks for the test website, I will be sure to direct others to the site.

Thanks again,

Lois
