Guest guest
Well Mike..........according to the five year rule I AM CURED but yet my Urologist wants me to have a Cystoscope examination every six months. Hmmm. Does he doubt the five year rule? You betcha! For awhile if a cancer 'returned' (wonder where it went) one day after the five years, they considered you cured and now with a new cancer. Huh? Figures don't lie.................you know the rest. Joe C.
Guest guest
It all depends on the type and classification and age , health of the person with leukemia. My daughter ( she was 27 years old ) had AML ( type of leukemia) and they couldn't heal her. Hodgkins is 90% cureable I know because 17 years ago I had it. I was give radiation I was a stage 1 class A. This was in 1990 when they believed that they needed to treat Hodgkins with HIGH doses of radiation. They later found out that the HIGH doses of radiation contributed to lung tumors and other tumors.
Guest guest
This boy had been on Chemo and it was the boy who told his parents that he did not want to continue this course of treatment . The chemo was only making him sick and there was no sign of improvement;only the word of some doctor that claim that this was the only course of treatment! They as a family chose to pursue natural forms of treatment. The parents were not being irresponsible .The judge has threaten to take this young man and place him in a foster home. Take a young person who is going through this is inhuman The real cancer here is eroding of our fundamental rights! Every American Every Veteran should be out rage at this attack of freedom of choice. It is the same as with Wallace up to our last breath cry FREEDOM. I'm out rage at this assault. We should be supporting this family and help in the fight..... This judge should be forced to take the same Chemo . FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
This story just frosts me. i am battling a recurrence of Hodgkin's Lymphoma myself and having great success using Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN). Here I what I just posted to the LDN group this morning: OMG, this is so surreal I can hardly believe it!!! Last week on May 13th I shared the following with all of you: Back in March I entered the following into the LDN data base: I had an OB/GYN appointment yesterday and the Dr. did an ultrasound. The one remaining enlarged lymph node in my left pelvic area showed up and it appears to have shrunk! My CT scan report from March 2008 says it was 4.6 x 4.3 cm. In just 4 1/2 months, the August 2008 CT scan shows it had grown to 6.7 x 5.2 cm. The ultrasound yesterday, although not as exact as a CT scan, I know, showed it to be 7 x 4 cm after 6 months. I am hoping the LDN I have been taking since my last scan in August has stopped it in its tracks and now shrinkage is occurring. Today I had another ultrasound, approximately 8 months after starting on LDN, and the enlarged lymph node is indeed shrinking. The doctor measured it at 5.5 x 3.7 cm!!! 2 months ago it was 7 x 4. Yesterday I had another ultrasound, just 7 days after the last one, and that one remaining lymph node has shrunk again from 5.5 x 3.7 cm to 4.34 x 3.05!!! You should have seen the doctor - he did a double take and measured it a few times just to be sure! The LDN has kicked in and appears to be in over-drive at this point! If this were my child, I'd be leaving the country and getting him on LDN ASAP. I have been on LDN for 8 months now. Debbie
