Yes. Certain dogs can smell cancer. Most dogs recognize it in their owners.

My dermatologist from the early 80's is one of the doctors who was

spearheading this. But it isn't new. I first read about his efforts

more than 10 years ago, I think.

It might be cheaper for a group of senior citizens, say a dozen of

them, to invest in one of these dogs than to have a dermatologist

excise every little spot they develop " just in case " it's cancer:
