Long time not posting...Vit. C IV+LDN etc;

I used to regularly post here especially when Dr. Guilmette was still alive and

posting such helpful things...

I have so far survived now 8 years colorectal cancer Stage III, with an

additional mets 3 years later to right lung qualifying as Stage IV. I underwent

chemo and radiation 8 years ago, but was not able to undergo chemo after 2nd

cancer in lung due to collapse of lung followed by 6 months with a chest drain

tube at home waiting for the lung to seal and defying any further surgeries

following a failed " muscle-flap " surgery of my left rectus abdominis into my

right lung, (because the right R side has an ileostomy from rectal cancer...no

colon now)

OK, I started LDN about two years ago following a rise in my tumor markers. I

was left with a fungus (Aspergillosis)in my right lung from the hospital and two

thoracotomies in a row. I began extensive Vit. C IV treatment following a six

week bout of fevers and lung infections due to the fungus increasing because I

had to stop taking the anti-fungal Sporanox(liquid)

because it caused my liver enzymes to shoot up into the danger zone.

As of this time I am back on the anti-fungal, clean and clear liver enzyme-wise,

no evidence of cancer return, and still receiving IV Vit. C (75 grams plus

B-complex, + whatever my alternative GP thinks I need, ie; sometimes amino acids

to bring my albumin up). I take Low Dose Naltrexone compounded by a compounding

pharmacy at the 4.5mg level.

I must tell a great story for those with supposed terminal cancer:

One of the patient's at my Alternative GP's came in with the return of her renal

cell cancer.

She had lost her left kidney 18 years ago to this now returned cancer. It was

now in her other kidney, lungs, breast(yes!), bones, and lymph nodes around her

shoulder and neck area. She was in severe pain...my alternative doc sent her to

her recommended oncologist when a short...and I mean short...course of IV Vit. C

did not seem to help her any.

Long to short...the patient went south of here to a place that is an alternative

health clinic where she is receiving 75 grams of IV Vit. C DAILY! My alternative

doc only has the infusions available(due to the necessity of having an RN for

inserting IV apparatus)3 times a week. So this woman is driving almost 2 hours

one way or 4 hours each day to get the 75 grams. BUT...she is now pain free, 3

weeks into her protocol of daily C, IV, the tumors are shrinking! One can only

hope that eventually she can cut down on the times per week the C is needed, but

for now things are looking very promising. She is also getting something else

they call their chemo...but it is a natural product and I am not sure what it

is. The clinic is called the Optimum Health Center in Oceanside California.
