Guest guest
Vicki: Omega 6 would fall under eating a good diet of healthy grass fed meats. It is the corn fed and man altered foods that produce the bad omega 6. And the wrong kind of oils. Animal omega 3 does have a direct relationship on cancer because it does several things. It thins the blood so that the immune system can get to the cancer as most cancer is encapsulated. Enzymes help as well. Animal omega 3 reduce inflammation which is directly related to cancer. You are correct with bad omega 6. Good oils are coconut and olive etc. The Dr. Weston Price foundation has all the information on healthy fats and omega 6. I go there to educate myself and use a doctor that has a doctorate degree in nutrition. Vitamin E is used in high quality fish oils to prevent them from being rancid often in the form of tocopherols. One can take this a step further and take a dry vitamin E along with the fish oil. Krill oil does not get rancid and is a good substitute. It is also the ratio of animal omegas 3 to omega 6 and 9. There is simply much more to this than avoiding bad omega 6.
