Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, know what you mean...seems like I have to decide on a case by case basis when to push Bridget and when not and...sometimes I get it wrong! Imagine that LOL Glad to hear Hannah seemed to have fun. I know that getting Bridget to the activity is the hardest part, once she's there she really enjoys being successful at things. Her language sessions are geared so she can read out loud, do comprehension work and answer questions, she also gets to do an art project (alot of times a sequenced story that she provides the captions for)that she can bring home and this makes her very happy! Today she said, as we were leaving, 'speech is fun!' Take Care, Deanna > Hannah has supposed to have " show and tell, or news " at school all > this year and has flatly refused to give it most of the time. So i > really went to work on her yesterday afternoon and just kept > repeating that she had to do it, and had to find something to share > with the class. Guest guest
Cheryl, It is a delicate balance, but I think you did the right thing, pushing Hannah to do show and tell. Occasionally I have used social stories to get Margot over the hump of anxiety that holds her back. Every time they do something successfully, that you encouraged them to do, it gives them a little more confidence for the next time. And what a great message you are giving her--that you believe in her. If Margot truly can't handle something, she won't do it, even with a social story, promise of Mc's, or my presence to support her. But I am amazed by what I can get her to try, and how good it makes her feel about herself. And the best part of all--as her confidence grows, other girls are responding. She has gotten 2 social invitations this year (2nd grade age 8) for the first time that are not just the whole class! Of course, that presents a whole new set of problems...but that's another subject! Camille
Guest guest
Yes, i understand, i'm rather glad that hannah does not get invited to birthday parties, but even with her party, still 2 parents stayed the whole time, they weren't prepared to go, so at least that is something. I could not and would not leave her alone, not yet anyway, she has only just turned 7, and she definitley isn't ready to do it on her own yet. cheryl Re: Re: what a relief Cheryl, It is a delicate balance, but I think you did the right thing, pushing Hannah to do show and tell. Guest guest
Dear Kathy, The discomfort you experienced after the cleanse stems from stones being trapped in parts of the large intestine, which is typical when the colon hasn't been cleaned out before and especialy after the liver flush through a colonic. In the worst case these trapped stones can cause serious infections, and affect the thyroid and other endocrine glands. I am not sure what kind of recipe you have used but it seems incomplete. And a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. I have worked with people who have done the liver cleanse the proper way and and the improper way. If done correctly it is very safe and can remove 80% of all diseases. If done incorrectly it can makes matters worse. I recommend that you choose one that incorporates a good colon cleansing and kidney cleansing program, and one that takes care of the causes of gallstones as well. My bestselling book " The Amazing Liver Cleanse " contains every essential guidline and explanation to use the liver flush as a means of fully restoring health and vitality. http://www.1stbooks.com/bookview/11296 I hope you will find this helpful, With kind regards s ========================================================= s Moritz 75 West Point Ave Tonka Bay, MN 55331 USA Tel: 952-470-9741 or 9887 Fax: 952-470 9889 E-mail: andmor@...
