Guest guest
Fish oil supplementation can help with this a bit. The best solution is the medical use of marijuana. Hopefully you live where this is legal, otherwise you might just " stick your neck out " . A bit of marijuana extracted into coconut oil over low heat (127 degrees) can bring back appetite in these cases. Can be mixed into juice. Guest guest
Hi That problem is called caquexia, and is very common among very ill people. There is evidence that Cannabis help with the appetite, works in special receptors in the brain. you should contact a Dr that treats people with Cannabis. good luck Hi Mike, My mom has gotten to the point, in her disease, where she does not want to eat. How would you, as a doctor, recommend handling something like that?

Guest guest
Hello Houckj, If you are talking about the fish oil (which I doubt), simply give a teaspoon in the morning and a teaspoon in the evening. Carlson's is a good brand. As to the cannabinoids...heat some coconut oil (1/2 tablespoon) in a small pan (tilt it) until it melts. This won't take long, since it is liquid at 75 degrees. Drop a pinch of marijuana bud into it grinding it with your fingers into powder. Stir with a spoon for a few minutes, or until you reach the smoke point of the oil. The oil should turn green. Pour the contents into a blender with some juice once the oil has cooled, but is still liquid. Blend briefly and serve. Make sure the foam on top gets consumed, as that is where much of the active components are. Guest guest
Mike, this is GREAT information! I have had trouble with weight loss due to loss of appetite and, while my appetite is back now, I seem to not want my typical " healthy " fare of lean meat and veggies, so need to make it so I want to eat anything in sight! Does this work better than marinol? And does this mess with your head like smoking pot does (never really did like the way it made me feel back in the day)? How often would one use it ... once a day or any time you need to eat? Thanks so much! You'll have to play with it a bit to get the dose right. Everyone has different numbers of cannabinoid receptors and diferent strains and sources of plants vary. You can get the boost for appetite without getting whacked out. M> How often would one use it ... once a day or any time you need to eat? Once a day should do it. M> Thanks so much! You are welcome.
