Guest guest
, before being referred to you by Marilyn H., many moons ago, I researched and called up Burzynski's clinic and was advised the treatment for my Bladder cancer would probably total in the $65,000 range. Needless to say that was out of the question and not because I did not think it was worth it then............I could not have paid for it! The very warm and sincere person on the phone heard me gulp and gave me the name of another organization that I might try but I have since lost that. Turns out my referral to you was what I needed and my subsequent two visits on cross-country trips helped immensely. Joe C.
Guest guest
I spoke to a woman today whose daughter has non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The first thing the oncologist told her was that she would need a $4,000,000 cap on her insurance. I told her that at $5,000 I could help 800 people for that same $4,000,000. For her oncologist to treat 800 people he would want $3,200,000,000. That's 3.2 billion dollars. I wonder if he would give a group discount. Then there is the aftercare business. They would need 800 caskets PDQ. I think that my program costs less than the casket that they won't need in the foreseeable future. Someone at Burzynski's clinic occasionally refers people to me. I am reluctant to thank them because those referrals may have been whispered. I would feel terrible if someone lost their job because I feel thankful. Guest guest
Hello Vishwajith, First you need to insert a stent into the CBD, if possible. If not then you might need to attempt reconstructive surgery and even that would be difficult -- especially if there are mets into the hepatic ducts. There are cases of successful reconstruction in similar cancers involving the hilum. See: http://www.cancer-therapy.org/CT5B/pdf/50._Spiliotis_et_al,_447-450.pdf If liver mets are large (say up to 10 cm or so) you can use percutaneous ablative treatments such as ultrasound guided bromopyruvate injection or microwave ablation. If the lesions are small, scattered, highly spiculated, diffuse, you might have to treat the whole liver through the hepatic artery or through umbilical vein cannulation. With this patient you have little choice but to begin with an invasive approach. Additional options include -2 inhibitors and Herceptin. -2 and c-erbB2 are over-expressed in 80% and 62% of invasive gallbladder cancers, respectively. If the patient is c-erbB2 positive then I would additionally use primrose oil. I don't have a web site re the things that I do/recommend as each patient is so different. I keep my program small and it is truly individualized. Although I like advanced cancers I don't accept cases that are acute as these are labor intensive (which is unfair to the other program participants). I ask that program participants (or companion) speak, understand, and read English. If you refer anyone from Sri Lanka please have them bring a flag (about 1ft. X 1-1/2ft.) or something similarly unique. I think of our program as a mini United Nations of health restoration and I like our retreat center to reflect this.
