Guest guest
Hi, I've been talking about the gallstones I flushed out and about the pain in my lower back and legs; well, I can see my urine is not clear and getting a little orangy in color, and that means I have a kidney stone too. I peed in a jar and looked at it and that orangy murky color usually is blood in the urine. Talk about being stoned, I've got it going on at both ends now. When I saw my doct on Fri about the gallstones, he said they would set up an ultra sound and call me back on Friday and let me know when and where. They didn't call till Monday at 10:20am and the nurse told me the appointment was at 10:15am same day, that very moment. My car had 2 inches of ice on it because I wasn't expecting to go anywhere since they did't call on Fri. She knew the name of the imaging facility but not the address or phone number. I called the office later on Monday and left a message for the doct to call me, he has not returned the call. For the past few years similar and worse mistakes have been made. Funny isn't it how they don't want anything to do with you after they screw up. I'm going to change doctors. I have Aetna Insurance and have to call them and tell them who my new pcp will be. Does anyone have experience with requesting your own medical records from a doctor....do they have to give them to me or will they insist on sending them to another doctor? Thanks Kathy
Guest guest
Kathy, I'm not sure how to answer the question about medical records, usually they are passed from doctor to doctor, but who pays for all this after all? It seems we should be able to get them if we ask. To help you with blood in the urine, Golden Seal is very good and will stop bleeding very quickly, it has natural antibiotic properties. I use it in and herbal combination I have that is formulated for the kidneys and bladder. In the past I also had some blood in my urine and it stopped it almost immediately, and will clear up the signs of infection in less than 24 hours though should be taken longer. Just an off-subject tip :-) L.
