Hi Garth and Kim (don't know which of you posts),

While I'm sorry I can't answer to your question about kamut and spelt, I can

tell you that spelt contains gluten. Glutens block the absorption of

nutrients from our intestines into our bodies.

A quick way to remember which grains have gluten is the acronym B.R.O.W.S.

as in " eye-brows " : Barley, Rye, Oats, Wheat and Spelt.

I know you have a lot of intolerances, but are you intolerant to buckwheat,

which is a seed? What about chia and hemp seeds. The 3 together make a

wonderful " breakfast cereal " to add to Budwig in the morning! All three are

very nutritious and don't contain gluten. Millet and quinoa are great. I

eat rice pasta on occasion and you can make a wonderful bread or pizza crust

from chick peas.

Hope any of that might be helpful with your restricted diet.

Barbara
