Guest guest
My opinion: Trudeau is both a " town crier " for some really good, healthful things, AND a salesman. He has, to the best of my knowledge, done and said some things that got him into trouble. So what I do is this: If Troudeau says it, I take it with a grain or two of sea salt, and I check out what he is saying against the opinions of others. If you read his books, for instance, his book on weight loss using HCG, you will note, if you are familiar with the HCG method, that he has pretty much rewritten the material of the doctor who first successfully used HCG to produce weight loss, and has added filler to make the volume long enough to be sold as a book. But he HAS made LOTS of people aware that there is, apparently, a REAL way to lose weight and to keep it off permanently. Bottom line? What Troudeau has to say can be of real value, provided one keeps in mind that he is something of a huckster/salesman, and that he has been known to uuhh...stretch the truth or otherwise to get himself into trouble. Check what he has to say against what others say. (Anyone wishing to know more about HCG and weight loss, do an internet search or find an HCG board where they discuss HCG and weight loss in detail. This post is not meant to start an off-topic discussion about HCG/weight loss.) Best wishes, Elliot
Guest guest
Walter, his books are sort of like Infomercials too, he keeps hinting about all the wonderful things the next book will expose, but seems to have problems ever getting to the point. Money, Money, Money .. sound familiar? Personal opinion... There certainly is some info in the books, but the quality of that info is rather lacking if you're well read generally in the alternative health field.. Guest guest
I was kind of horrified by one of his books. He sounded like a raving looney. And blatantly telling you that to get the information you would need to sign up for, and pay for, his newsletter. Um... No. ar -- Arlyn Grant arlynsg@... Guest guest
I have read his book Natural Cures they don't want you to know about. If you are an absolute beginner about truth in health, then this is for you, an eye opener how crooked the US FDA is and how truth in health is suppressed to favor money interests. But doesn't reveal too much... he's a businessman. But I will have to thank this book for opening my eyes when I was a newbie. Made me angry and made me search for more information. The next book I read was more constructive. I made a book review: http://www.curelibrary.com/blog/book-reviews/the-hundred-year-lie-book-review/ Walter Malinowski wrote: > > > > Having watched part of Trudeau's infomercial this morning, does > anyone have any thoughts regarding the contents of his books? Guest guest
Walter there are actually a few good things in the book but its not that great. If you really want it try overstock.com or another used book seller. I got it for shipping and handling when I bought the weight loss cure. As for the weight loss cure. It had some interesting information that was usless to me and probably 99% of the rest of the world because we could not afford the cure. Guest guest
I would check your library also before you purchase it. I know ours has it. Guest guest
in my humble opinion, his book is very little use, it was like his radio ads, lots of words saying the same thing over and over again but with very little actual content On Jan 17, 2008, at 11:22 AM, Ronnie Conner wrote: > Walter there are actually a few good things in the book but its not > that great. > Walter Malinowski wrote: > >Having watched part of Trudeau's infomercial this morning, > does anyone have any thoughts regarding the contents of his books? Guest guest
I feel your emotion there. I got his books, and supposedly had a free subscription to his online something....when I couldn't get logged in with the information I sent numerous emails to him, his office, " his people. " Not as much as a curt response. I would stir clear away from supporting this guy. Raven Arlyn Grant wrote: I was kind of horrified by one of his books. He sounded like a raving looney.
