Guest guest
Sometime back I spoke with Yamamoto about GcMAF and ways to make it. I was thinking about making it myself just to see if there was anything to it. My own lab was not equipped to do the quality control necessary. The dose is so small (one-ten millionth of a gram) that it cannot be seen without a microscope. Unfortunately, I would think that this extremely low dose would open the door to The-Emperor's-New-Clothes kind of trickery. I feel especially uncomfortable when it is made at a secret lab, by furtive researchers who sell it a cost that seems less than the cost of making it. The people in Israel who are making it don't seem to be hiding anything. Why are the people who are selling it at the site listed below hiding behind a fig leaf of pharmaceutical conspiracy? My best guess is that they have taken a few short cuts in its production method. I would advise anyone who thinks of buying it to request a manufacturer's certificate of analysis. I was offered free " GcMAF " from another lab and I declined. They would not show me their lab nor would they tell me how they made it. The method is not a proprietary secret - it is in the open literature. The science is not difficult - it is just costly and time consuming. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Sweet Sent: Monday, January 03, 2011 4:39 AM Ciorstan Smark Cc: Subject: [ ] ordering GcMAF and (as a sideline) DCA Importance: Low It took a lot of looking but . . . http://www.gcmaf.eu/info/index.php?option=com_content <http://www.gcmaf.eu/info/index.php?option=com_content & view=article & id=106 & I t> & view=article & id=106 & It emid=
Guest guest
You have be aware also that the FDA is watching closely and if you do anything out of the norm , you can be pounced upon. So they may just be trying to stay under the radar. However even though we believe in alternative care not all are good, so we have to research on our own and rely on others experience. Guest guest
D, The FDA does a balancing act of protecting citizens, protecting the large healthcare corporations, complying with social policy, and of not alienating budget-controlling politicians. I don't think they are terribly interested in health care unless it begins to infringe on worker productivity. They aren't terribly interested in alternative treatments unless marketing claims potentially hurt the big corporations. Individual states seem to have equal influence over alternative practices. I do think the FDA often has a problem knowing who is a crook vs who isn't. I have talked with FDA agents. They seem like standard issue bureaucrats to me. Some can be real jerks, others are decent people trying to make a living. You can say the same about IRS, TSA, and maybe even most of the people you know. Of course the FDA wants you to think they are watching every little thing just as the IRS would have you believe that they scrutinize everyone's taxes. Self-policing and fear makes their job so much easier. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Trade Products Sent: Monday, January 03, 2011 10:35 AM Subject: RE: [ ] ordering GcMAF You have be aware also that the FDA is watching closely and if you do anything out of the norm , you can be pounced upon. Guest guest
, The Israeli company that makes GcMAF is headed by Yammamoto. So far as i know, he is part of that venture. The Israeli MD who administers it is Dr. Eyal Atias. They are currently also running a clinical trial with three different types of cancers. Guest guest
Gubi, Clinical trials are necessary, but they are usually too narrow and the patients are cherry picked so that the trials have a built-in bias to win or lose. I would love to see a large prospective study of real walk-in-the-door patients who have not done prior therapies. They would have their choice to do the GcMAF as a stand alone or along with any other therapy of their choosing. If the study is large enough you can get very good information. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Gubi Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2011 2:57 AM Subject: Re: [ ] ordering GcMAF , The Israeli company that makes GcMAF is headed by Yammamoto.
