Guest guest
It seems quite a few members are taking the phrase " can't keep anything down " too lightly in answering a recent question a member asked. " Can't keep anything down " means to me just that: Any time and anything the person tries to ingest by mouth comes right up again: eat-vomit-eat- vomit-drink-vomit-drink-vomit. I had that happen when I got chemotherapy without any anti-emetic added to the mix. Absolutely anything I ingested caused me to vomit.' In such a case, the only possible way to get anything into the person is through the rectum. If one has never experienced a real " can't keep anything down " situation, they may not understand the absoluteness and direness of it. Best wishes, Elliot
